The TS-1886XU-RP comes with a pre-installed dual-port 10GbE SFP+ Smart NIC to improve bandwidth-demanding data center and virtualization applications. The 10GbE Smart NIC uses Broadcom BCM57412 NetXtreme®-E network controller that supports RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE and RoCEv2), allowing data to bypass general network drivers, the socket layer, and directly enter ESXi server and storage memory buffer.
